Sakhi TV – India’s first Women’s channel Launching on August 17

sakhi tvTechnoparkToday.com>> Sakhi TV, India’s first Women’s channel, will go on air on August 17, 2014 (Chingam 1). The channel will be committed to excellence in helping and empowering women in the country.

The official launch of Sakhi TV will be held at Nishagandhi Auditorium, on August 17, 2014 by Kerala Governor Sheila Dixit.  Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala will officially announce the 100-days social welfare programs of the channel including the marriage of 100 women. Dignitaries from Cinema, arts, and politics including women will attend the function.

The channel will initially air entertainment programs and from the 50th day, it will telecast news bulletins and news-based programs.

Sakhi TV guarantee total empowerment of women population in Kerala and also protection of children throughout the state.
