Workshop on JavaScript and jQuery

CSI Trivandrum Chapter and Zyxware is jointly conducting a One Day workshop on Javascript and jQuery on the 15th of September 2012. The workshop will be held at Hotel Keys, Trivandrum from 9AM to 5PM. Entry is limited to 30 participants only. You can - register online and reserve a seat for yourself for the workshop.

Venue: Keys Hotel, Opposite Fire Brigade, Housing Board Junction, Trivandrum

Introduction:

This one day hands-on workshop will provide a complete introduction to JavaScript and jQuery.

Pedagogy:

Will consist of theoretical sessions to enable participants to understand the conceptual base and programming exercises to reinforce the learning. Participants are required to bring their own laptops.

Trainer:

Mr. Vimal Joseph, Technical Architect, Zyxware Technologies
Vimal has more than 11 years experience in IT industry. Currently Vimal is a Technical Architect at Zyxware Technologies. Vimal has extensively used Python for developing applications throughout his career. His previous employer was SPACE an NGO which promotes Free Software. During that time, he was actively involved in the campaign to migrate the schools in Kerala to Free Software. He made a distribution based on Debian for schools which was used as the original distribution to roll out GNU/Linux deployments to school. During that tenure, he has conducted several workshops on Python for school teachers, engineering college teachers and other professionals.   3. @sreejith all quality things are not PAID too. I too had the thought they should have mentioned the payment details in the advt. itself.

  4. @sreejith, this is an introductory session for which they r asking 1000 rs per head. do you think just an introductory session would cost that much. also in the post it is not mentioned anywhere. You will get to know that this is a paid session only by end of the registration. Couple of months back Microsoft conducted a Mobile App development session in Trivandrum which was absolutely free. So I don’t think a it is not an impossible one to have a free seminar or workshop on technologies
