Will You Vote 2016- TechnoparkToday Election Survey Results

survey new poster(1)TechnoparkToday.com>>  ‘Will You Vote 2016′,(Link) the exclusive online survey promoted by TechnoparkToday, among techies is finally out.  The survey was intended to know the views of Technopark employees about the current politics and upcoming assembly election.


91.5% Techies among the participants will vote in this election.  In the last ‘will you vote’ survey held in 2011, it was 63%.  There is 28.5% increase in number of techies going to polling stations this year.

35.5% Techies shifted their constituency near to Technopark or Trivandrum from their hometowns.  Only 2.2% yet to enroll into voters list.  62.3% Techies will vote in their hometowns.

 

For the question who will rule Kerala this time, 60.2% opted the answer LDF, 23.8 supported UDF, and 16% selected BJP.

 

 

47.7 % Techies think BJP will open account this time in Kerala.

Pinarayi Vijayan got the first place for the question -Who is your Chief Minister Choice (25.6%).  VS Achuthananthan got the support of 19.7%  and Ommon Chandy secured 17.8% support.  Interestingly, 11.7% Techies opted O Rajagopal and 11.1% opted TM Thomas Issac as their chief minister of choice.  8.6% supported Kummanam Rajasekharan.  VM Sudheeran and Ramesh Chennithala got 3.3% and 2.2% support respectively as chief minister.

34.2% Techies believe Modi Effect will impact the state election while 65.8% think it will not affect the Kerala elections.

For the question- Will the scams in UDF government affect its poll prospects?  82% Techies answered yes and 18% said no.

56.4% Techies not favored selection of film actors and Media persons as candidates, while 43.6% supported this.

Majority of the participants think Corruption is the major issue in Kerala, with getting 56.4% support for this.  Development, Communalism, Environment Degradation, and waste management were the other issues highlighted respectively.

 

The survey was conducted through the online community portal TechnoparkToday.com, Technopark-related discussion forums, and email forwards. This is the second consecutive time Will You Vote survey is happening in Technopark.

  2. When was this survey conducted, how many respondents (N) were there, the demographics of the respondents, margin of error,…nothing is provided… Give me at least something to call this data credible…
