Techies witness Solar Eclipse
Thiruvananthapuram enjoyed the one of the best cosmic shows – the solar eclipse and so did the techies.
The Software Engineers and Project Managers in Technopark were engaged this day a bit more they might have imagined. TechnoparkToday found employees carrying tripod stand and other equipments to capture the show from the top of its main buildings.
TTF, (an iBSian unit which promotes Travel, Tour & Fun) arranged a “Solar Eclipse Watch” program under their banner at Chandragiri. Many (including IBS, Infosys, Allianz & UST employees) queued up infront of Chandragiri to witness the event spending their valuable time to watch the annular solar eclipse. TTF made some specific equipments to enable the viewers for a safe catch.
Most of the techies remarked that they are witnessing such an event the first time in their lives. However there were the usual rumours and hot news speeding across the fraternity this day. Some of them said about people developing a headache early this morning and a few who restrained from bath and food !
