Techie Stars: Reshmi’s world of cooking

TechnoprkToday.com>> This week, we are introducing a Technopark employee, Reshmi, who is a food vlogger. Reshmi’s youtube channel – Reshmi’s World of Cooking– is a big hit among food lovers who are searching for creative recipes.

The youtube channel has hundreds of recipes and a good number of subscribers. It has been featured in many online platforms related to food and cooking. She also offers live cooking sessions in Facebook and youtube so that followers can ask doubts and clarifications real time during the cooking sessions.

Reshmi talks to Team TechnoparkToday.com, “ My love for cooking started when I was very young, helping my mother in the kitchen and watching her cook with utmost love. Later it became more intense when I started to watch cooking shows. Basically, I am an eggetarian, but I learned nonveg recipes for my hubby and our little junior and that is how I innovated new recipes. I got a chance to learn more quality cooking and some of the finest authentic recipes from my mother in law. She is a great cook.

I would attempt each recipe and casually click a picture of it and preserve them as a record. This way I had a pretty good collection of tried recipes along with the pictures. The idea of blogging and doing a channel strike me when I was prompted by my hubby and my sister encouraging me to take my passion to a next level. My blog started humbly as a way to help my close ones and friends with recipes and to make their lives easier. I then realized that more and more people are taking interest in my recipes and was gaining popularity.

So I decided to host a youtube channel- Reshmi’s world of cooking. Cooking gives me an opportunity to nurture my family and friends. To express my love and take care of them. Hearing the words ‘this is really tasty’ was a huge motivator for me to keep spending time in the kitchen when I was learning to cook”.

Reshmi hails from Alappuzha. She is working as HR Admin at Green Orchid Software Solutions Pvt Ltd, Thejeswini.
