The IT/ITES/BPO people are not taking care about financial and tax planning, according to 70 percent of the respondents of the annual tax survey.

UST Global , one of the biggest employers among software development companies in Kerala, has been accorded the Co-Developer status for setting up its own Private IT campus near Technopark Trivandrum. The approval is given by the Board of Approval of the Ministry of Commerce.
By becoming the co-developer of Technopark, UST Global would be eligible to claim all the government benefits, that is otherwise limited only to the main developers. It is learnt that Infosys, the country’s second-largest information technology services provider, has told its senior managers (project managers, senior and group project managers, delivery managers) to give the lowest performance rating (4 on a scale of 1-4) to the ‘underperforming’ 5 per cent as a part of the company’s consolidated relative ranking (CRR).
