Smart city status: Mayor to receive suggestions from techies on October 27 (Thursday) at 12: 30 pm

TechnoparkToday.com>>  Techies, who already work in the smart space -Technopark, have been taking an active part in the campaign, collecting and collating opinions, discussing issues, organizing meetings  for Smart city status for Thiruvanthapuram.

Prathidhwani  the socio-cultural organization of technopark employees  is heading this event. This Thursday Mayor V K Prasanth will receive suggestions from techies at Nila,Tejaswini,and Yamuna buildings (Phase III) of technopark.

Prathidhwani requests all technopark employees to actively participate in this campaign to achieve smart city status to Thiruvananthapuram.

• Children’s/leisure parks in all corporation wards
• Ward based decentralized waste management system .Waste disposal locations via mobile App
• Centralized pure water supply system
• Refresh/rest rooms in all main centers
• Application tracking in corporation offices via mobile and on-line methods
• All taxes and fee via online
• Tracking of city transport buses and display the arrival time in all bus stops
• Interconnection of Traffic signals in city and bringing this under one central control system
• Multilevel parking in all main centers.
• Solar power for Govt Offices
• Mobile app for interaction between medical college doctors and patients
• Mobile app for identification of damaged street lights
• Ban disposable plastic goods /vending machines to collect plastic bottles
• complete ban on horns to reduce noise pollution
• Organic markets where farmers can directly sell their products / hygienic slaughter houses
• Reviving Parvathy Puthanar as a new water highway
• convert all schools to smart schools – digital class rooms ,digital libraries
• Foot over-bridge in all main junctions
• Enable effective Food inspection .Publish list of restaurants/hotels/takeaways with high to low grades
