Rice Bucket Challenge in Technopark- 60 Tribal Families will get Onasadya

TechnoparkToday.com>> When the whole world is busy with ice bucket challenge, Technopark plans to do things in a different way. World’s greenest IT hub, Technopark has decided to celebrate this Onam with an innovative charity campaign ‘Rice bucket challenge’ with a tag line “share your Onasadya with 60 tribal families.  A bucket, kept in the park, will collect the rice donations from techies.

Technopark CEO, Gireesh Babu has launched the challenge here in Technopark by depositing 1 kg packet of rice into the bucket.

“The rice collecting through the campaign will be distributed among 60 tribal families for their onasadhya.  The challenge will be continued till September 5, 2014” Vasudevan Madathil senior BDM Technopark, told TechnoparkToday.com.

Techies can put rice packets, not less than 1 kg, in the bucket.  Take your picture donating the rice and post it in Facebook under the hash tag #TPRicebucketChallenge.  Among the photo posts, a lucky winner will get exciting prizes.

  4. instead of pouring ice water in to your head, here we are giving food for less privileged people. its a good sign of the positive change and attitude. also it shows techies are socially responsible and they can take up social issues and even find solutions in a very innovative way. good job guys…keep it going.
