RapidValue Launches Platform to Mobilize Oracle eBusiness ERP

RapidValue Solutions, Inc is pleased to announce the launch of their Oracle eBiz Mobile Platform. This platform mobilizes various Oracle ERP products like Oracle eBusiness Suite 11i and 12, Siebel, JDE,PeopleSoft and suitable for Oracle product users. The platform consists of pre-built modules and built-in connectors with Oracle eBusiness Suite ERP.  The modules are customizable and can be easily connected to other Oracle ERP products. The pre-built modules support features and functionality which include – Field service, Inventory & PO Receipt management, Quote & Sales Order and HR & Expenses.

Field Service – The Mobile ‘Field service’ module (part of E-Business suite) is ideal for field service engineers visiting customers. This module allows field service engineers to review tasks, access inventory and access part details, job costs, update tasks, access product details and debrief details apart from basic information like notes and integration with Google maps.

Inventory and PO Receipt management–Mobile ‘Inventory’ module ensures that the store managers are well aware of the status of the outgoing and incoming goods.The users can access PO, line items, create&place orders, scan barcodes, order status,SKU lookup and more.

Quote and Sales Order – Mobile ‘Quote and Sales order’module provides options to create sales orders, access inventory availability, calculate the prices, check status of orders& pipeline and more.

HR and Expenses – The HR and Expense module provides options such as leave requests, time sheet approval, team calendar, job order &cost centre and more.

To mobilize the Oracle product, client side development is required. This can be achieved in two ways – Native application development using the appropriate tools such as Xcode – iOS, Eclipse-Android and Hybrid application development using the Oracle ADF (Application Development Framework).
