Prakruthi celebrates World Forestry Day in Technopark

Technoparktoday.com>> ‘Life at Technopark’ is something that we always admire, for those who have been working in this campus for quite long time might have witnessed the gradual change that was brought in over the last few years, which of course remained positive for the crowd of around 50000 techies. ‘Prakruthi’s’ contribution to this stream of thoughts remains at large when it comes to the field of sustainable living and environment.
 
On 21st March 2016, Prakruthi celebrated World Forestry Day in association with Technopark and Kerala Forest Department. Volunteers from Prakruthi reached out to around 60-70 organizations and conveyed the message of World Forestry Day. Moreover they identified the birthday bees gifted them with a sapling.
 
Dr.Bradson.S.Corrie IFS – Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Head of Forest Force) along with Technopark CEO S.Ramnath took part in the event. Dr.Corrie was phenomenal in providing the thoughts and offering necessary supports. He planted ‘Lakshmi Tharu’, a medicinal plant in Technopark.

Prakruthi intends to work in order to bring in more medicinal plants and the glory of old Vaidhyan Kunnu. They have decided to work on the thoughts like ‘Eco Stewardships’ and the theme ‘Forests and Water’ in association with Kerala Forest Department. Moreover, the possibilities of technology to achieve some of the requirements will be verified.
