Infopark Phase II – Partner with Green IT Township

The Phase I of Infopark Kochi has scripted a success story of becoming one of the most favorite IT destinations in the country for IT majors like TCS, WIPRO, Cognizant, Arbitron, OPI Global, and ACS Xerox. Now it is heading towards the next phase (Phase II) with an expanse of 160 acres of SEZ and non-SEZ development on a waterfront township coming up in the city with a total built-up area of 8 million sq.ft, that will create employment opportunities for over 85,000 eligible candidates.

The park is designed as an eco-friendly green park, with high energy-saving measures and least carbon emissions. On completion of this phase, the location – Kakkanad – will emerge as a big IT township with branded hotels, convention centres,shopping malls, residential apartments, multiplexes, etc. The expected investment is 3000 crores and this phase is envisaged as a PPP model (Public Private Partnership). The phase I has been developed in a similar model with private players like L&T Techpark, Leela Infopark, and Brigade Group as partners.
