Financial Analyst in Satmetrix, Technopark

Job Profile/ Requirements:

• Perform variance analyses between departmental budgeted and actual results. Research variances and provide analysis for feedback to Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and to Budget Owner(s). • Reconcile department expense accounts and propose adjustments as needed. • Prepare monthly variance reports including analysis for review with the Manager, FP&A and Budget Owners. • Update Variance reports for new formats and organization as needed. • Work with Business Analysts to validate new reports. • Assist the Manager, FP&A in the preparation of annual and quarterly updates to the budget and review of departmental budget data. • Maintain department expense budgets in NetSuite and update as needed. • Assist in the monitoring of expenditures associated with project contracts. • Review project cost margins and prepare financial analyses by project, customer, product line for Regional and Operational teams as needed. • Prepare forecast vs. actual results analysis of the Billing Forecast. • Maintain various spreadsheets as needed. • Perform ad hoc analysis. • Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets and charts, to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/PG degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required. • 3-5 years of finance experience. • A minimum of four years of experience performing financial modeling and analysis, and demonstrated proficiency and accuracy in spreadsheet applications. • Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques as well as proficiency with financial statement analysis and projection. • Knowledge of overall business unit operations including business processes, revenue and cost components and drivers of these measures. • Experience with NetSuite preferred.
