Traditional Kerala dishes like Kappa – Meencurry-Kattan, Kappa biriyani, Kerala meals etc have much demand at Chayakappal. “My humble attempt to bring back those forgotten recipes form grandmothers kitchen. We also have seasonal food menu including chakkappuzhukku, mangakitchedi, and others,” Nikitha Sachu and Thalhath NS, the founders of Chayakappal said to TechnoparkToday.com.
“Our aim was to create a nice ambience where youngsters and families can hangout while enjoying traditional Kerala cuisine”, Nikitha added.
A variety of black tea will also be served at Chayakappal including kurumulaku kattan, kattan elakka, puthina kattan, and lemon kattan.
Weekly live music has also been arranged to keep the customers entertained.
