CEO of Zesty Beanz Technologies Wins Star Entrepreneur Award at Innovation Summit
Lepeesh Parat, the founder and CEO of Technopark Trivandrum-based Zesty Beanz Technologies has won the “Star Entrepreneur Award” at the 5th Indira International Innovation Summit held in Pune in January this year.
The award was conferred on Parat in recognition of his leadership and contributions to the area of entrepreneurship and innovation. The award consists of a trophy and a citation.
Presented by the Indira College of Engineering and Management (ICEM) at Pune, the annual Indira International Innovation Summit aims to develop an insight into developing a mindset for innovation. This year’s theme was “Imagination, Creativity and Ingenuity: Leading a Culture of Innovation.”
Parat founded Zesty Beanz Technologies at the National Institute of Technology TBI at Kozhikode (NIT-K) in October 2008. In May, 2011, the company expanded its operations to Technopark Trivandrum. Today, a major part of the development, support, and sales team is based in Thiruvananthapuram. The centre at NIT is maintained for training and R&D. The company also has a divisional office in Belgium and plans to start operations in Frankfurt (Germany) later this fiscal.
