5 KSUM startups graduate to independent companies in Technopark

TechnoparkToday.com(Aug, 2015):Five startups, incubated at the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), have graduated and started working as independent companies in Technopark.

Setting a new model for the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in the state, the first batch of startups in KSUM – Zestybeanz, Creace, Akira, Techrista, Mirox – together formed a consortium with the support of Technopark and moved into a commonly furnished room at Nila building in the Park.

Minister for IT and Industries Shri PK Kunhalikkutty inaugurated the new office space of the companies in the presence of Shri P H Kurian IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of IT and Industries and Shri Girish Babu, CEO, Technopark.

“This is a new model achieved through collective effort of the start-up companies.  It is also an accomplishment for the Kerala State Government which has come out with various policies to support SME companies,” said the Minister.

According to KSUM officials, 17 more startups are expected to graduate from the incubation facility this month.
