Big Bazaar apologized and resolved the issue.

Readers,

Thank you so much for your overwhelming response for the Big Bazaar post. Your comments and feedbacks spread across the globe, and it has produced good results. See the testimony from Mr. Ajith Raj.

“Yesterday(20-08-2008) morning Mr. Sujith Kumar(Assistant manager, Big Bazaar Trivandrum) and Akhilesh called me. Then Sujith came to our Technopark office and discussed the issue. He apologized for the incident and handled the issue in a very efficient and professional manner. Then he replaced the device with a new one and gave me a gift(pack of sweets). His behavior was very good. Akhilesh also called me and apologized about the incident.”

It is really great to see that the Big Bazaar people resolved the issue amicably. We should appreciate them for that.

  1. Nice. They realise that a large majority of shoppers might be IT professionals and they cant afford to lose their business!

This is called ‘marketting’. They know they get big profit from technopark employees. You can meet a huge number of technoparkians on weekends there. So if there is an issue, it can affect their business.

I wonder why they did not ‘resolve’ this ‘issue’ initially.

  4. Good to know it’s solved. But until we make a big fuss about it, these guys don’t move a small finger!!!

  5. This should be appreciated.

  6. This is not professionalim, but lack of professionalism. After reading all these messages, somebody at top would have realized that their brand name is going for a toss in TVM and asked the responsible guys to act.

Big Bazaar created a hype in Blr when they started, but the quality of product and service was low so people drifted to better places. If you care for original and genuine products/services, avoid Big Bazaar.
