UST Global joins Infosys and TCS in recieving Co-Developer status

technoparktoday.com 24 December 2009 2 Comments

UST Global , one of the biggest employers among software development companies in Kerala, has been accorded the Co-Developer status for setting up its own Private IT campus near Technopark Trivandrum.  The approval is given by the Board of Approval of the Ministry of Commerce.

By becoming the co-developer of Technopark, UST Global would be eligible to claim all the government benefits, that is otherwise limited only to the main developers. Other Technopark based companies that enjoy the co-developer status are Infosys Technologies, IBS Software Services and Tata Consultancy Private Limited.

This is one example of how the Kerala Government and Business Park Department of IT Kerala is going to great lengths to provide a supportive environment for entrepreneurs. In addition to the best Telecom and IT infrastructure, software companies in Kerala enjoy every kind of subsidy that can be provided by the Government.

The private IT campus will be part of the second phase expansion of Technopark (which is a CMMI Level 5 Technology Park). The park, which is the biggest among software IT parks in Kerala, is also known as a Green IT park for its lush green environment.
